The current captain of the Spanish national team and CN Atlètic-Barceloneta has been occasionally involved in many of BIWPA's initiatives since the project's early days: "From now on, my presence will be more constant."

Perrone will integrate into many of the services offered by BIWPA, including the Academy, the Summer Academy, team training trips, and tournaments. In this way, players and teams from around the world will have the unique opportunity to learn from one of the greatest players of all time. "It is an unparalleled opportunity to connect with the water polo community and share my knowledge and experiences gained over many years in this sport," Perrone affirmed.

Quim Colet, BIWPA's Sports Director, explained that Perrone has already been integrated into the academy's technical staff for several weeks: "He is working with our athletes once a week and providing personalized follow-up on each of them." Additionally, he added: "Our goal has always been to achieve excellence, and we can't think of anyone better than Perrone to continue advancing in this direction."
