"I came to BIWPA because I wanted to surround myself by a higher level of water polo,
experience the culture and learn Spanish. Morning practices with the BIWPA coaches
have been great, and in the evening practices with my club team is where I got more the
Spanish type of play. The city of Barcelona is also super cool, it's got a ton of culture and
it's always sunny."
"It was great, as I gained international experience outside my country. I think the Watlicam was very helpful to improve the specific movements and the masterclasses with professional players were amazing. Besides, my club team (Sant Feliu) was one of the best in the league, we qualified for Top 6."
"My 4 years at the Academy have been very memorable. I would not be where I am today without the staff and the people I've met along the way; it's a once in a life time opportunity and you learn so much about yourself, about the game, about other people and about a new culture. All in all I think Barcelona has it all."
"I had the chance to compete with the best 16U team in Spain, Club Natació Barcelona,
and winning both the Catalan and Spanish Championships. I had the best experience of
my life: I played water polo, I traveled around Barcelona, and had a great time with my
friends and club team. I also became more independent and water polo wise, more
aggressive and better at shooting."
