The BIWPA Easter Camp moves to CN Sabadell

05/03/2021

From Monday, March 29 to Thursday, April 1, with all the safety measures

Barcelona International Water Polo Academy (BIWPA) and Club Natació Sabadell (CNS) have reached an agreement to hold the Easter water polo camp organized by BIWPA at the facilities of CNS.

The camp was originally scheduled to take place at the high-performance center CAR of Sant Cugat, but both the COVID-19 situation and the proximity of the Olympic Games have caused this change of location.

New venue, same philosophy

Both BIWPA and CNS have already carried out several joint projects, but this is undoubtedly the most exciting to date.

Natació Sabadell is one of the most important sports clubs in Spain, with top notch facilities that will allow participants to live an unforgettable experience.

The camp will be mainly heald at the "Centre Gran Via" of CNS, equipped with two swimming pools, multisports courts, soccer field, paddle tennis and ping-pong, among other areas.

A session is also planned in the pool complex of "Centre Can Llong", where participants will have additional activities such as beach volleyball and eSports in a room with the latest technology to enjoy sports using video games.

Multiple masterclasses

In addition to the new venue, this seventh edition of the BIWPA Easter Camp presents an innovative format through which campers will enjoy four masterclasses with professional players.

Each session will be focused on the practice of a different position: attack, center, center defender and goalkeeper. Although the commitments with the national team could originate changes, some of the guest stars will be Adrià Delgado (CN Barcelona), Nemanja Ubovic (CN Sabadell), Anni Espar (CN Mataró) and Dani López Pinedo (CN Atlètic-Barceloneta).
