Agreement with Fasttriatlon for a triathlon camp at CAR Sant Cugat

The camp will be held during Easter holiday, in parallel with the water polo camp

BIWPA and Fasttriatlon present the Triathlon & Fun camp, led by Albert Parreño and Anna Flaquer at the facilities of the high performance center 'CAR Sant Cugat' (Barcelona) for Easter holiday, from April 6th to 9th, 2020.

The camp is aimed at participants aged 10 to 17 who want to start practicing triathlon or improve physical, technical and tactical aspects of the discipline.

Fasttriatlon is one of the triathlon reference clubs in Spain and combines both professional and amateur. With this first edition of the camp, Fasttriatlon intends to make triathlon available for everyone.

The triathlon section will be led by Albert Parreño, president of Fasttriatlon, triathlete and coach with the Catalan and Spanish teams; and Anna Flaquer, professional triathlete also with both Catalan and Spanish teams.

Sport and fun

BIWPA will contribute its five years of experience in the organization of water polo camps to incorporate a new sport in parallel with its Easter Camp. A successful formula that will benefit all the triathlon participants.

Campers will train at CAR Sant Cugat, sharing facilities with some of the country's top athletes. Trainings will take place at the swimming pool complex, an outdoor athletics track and the surroundings for cycling.

Apart from having the best technical staff, campers of the two disciplines will coexist and share spaces in a multicultural camp where the most important thing will be learning, perfecting the fundamentals of each sport and have fun.
