BIWPA has partnered with The Perfect Goalie to develop and promote water polo
We are excited to announce that the Barcelona International Water Polo Academy (BIWPA) and the Water Polo Academy - The Perfect Goalie (TPG) have agreed on a partnership to develop and promote water polo together
The collaboration will kick off with a first joint event in the US, the Winter Academy in California, from December 27 to 29, 2021. The program will focus on goalies and field players independently as well as part of a team, offering the highest level of coaching expertise to grow athletes and help them reach their best level of performance.
As leading experts in their respective fields, both academies will use this agreement to combine their strengths, experiences and special expertise in coaching and developing water polo players, goalkeepers, coaches and teams as well as offering international training camps and events worldwide.
"With this partnership we are taking the development of water polo athletes to a new level", says Michael "MIZE" Zellmer, founder of TPG.
"Athletes have the chance to learn from the best coaches, quickly improve their performance and better understand and incorporate the key fundamentals of our sport."
"For us, this is a big step forward in goalies development," says Quim Colet, Sports Director of BIWPA.
"We're very excited to launch this partnership in the US, one of the main areas where we promote a water polo philosophy based on the fundamentals and individual skills."
